Stop. I'm not pregnant. My sister is!
Hooray! Megan and Daniel are expecting offspring October 20 (I believe). They told the Perkins clan a couple months ago via video chat. Isn't technology great? My parents just sat there and grinned...looking a little stunned. Meganiel (Megan+Daniel) showed us a picture of the little critter, and I don't remember exactly how burgers came up (probably something "the baby was craving") but this is the drawing I did for them out of my excitement. If you look closely, you can see it started off with a tail, but then Megan said it has toes, so I had to add them on there. Most of them anyway :)
We were all sworn to secrecy, but from what I hear, ahem, I'm the only one who didn't tell a directly related-to-Megan person. I was really excited so I told people at work. And the Frisbys. Do you know how hard it is to not immediately share that news on Facebook?! It's exciting! First grandbaby on the Perkins side. So Daniel broke the silence a couple days ago. I guess he was tired of explaining why Megan has been puking so much and why her bras are all too small now or why she's been eating so many bean burritos. (Hahahaha...there's nothing better than embarrassing a sibling on the web.)

Before I started reading your post, I just saw the picture and I knew it was about someone being pregnant. I love that a picture of a tadpole-looking thing with a hamburger=pregnant.

No doubt Megan's baby will have the coolest name ever, being that she lives in the big city. However, here in So Jo we have the following humdingers in my kids' classes: Zaden (and Jayden and Kayden)-- all in the same class. And a GELSEY! Is that horrible or what? There are all sorts of other awful, ridiculous names that I abhor, but lucky for you my brain has become swiss cheese and the horror eludes me. Hope you guys are great. Come see us already-- and hurry up about it, I'm about to spontaneously combust!
Congrats on being an aunt! Josh and I lOVED your link. Those names are ridiculous. Josh thinks they need to have a conference talk about naming your kids real names.
Okay, now I need to check out that link. Just wanted to say congrats on becoming an auntie... you will never be the same :) My sister is pregnant too, and when she finally announced it on Facebook, my other sister also announced it and everyone thought I was pregnant :)
And how fitting... the word verification text they make you type before you can post a comment is "pregat" so we're only a little off from the truth... weird :)
