I LOVE SUMMER.
Had to get that out. In the last few weeks, we've hung out with lots of family (including my sis from NY yay), gone rafting, went to the Cache Valley Cruise-In car show, celebrated the 4th, had lots of ice cream, saw Get Smart, flew AJ's airplane, rode our bikes, had bbq's...I feel like I'm leaving out something, but that's basically what's been distracting me from documenting any of it.
Oh yeah, I just got a new driver's license too. It's horrendous. It looks like I have a femmullet.
No...that's not the exciting concluding fun activity to the list. I had to get a Utah license though (supposed to 5 months ago) and I figured now was the best time to do it. My bff Maren is getting married in August (8-8-08) and I just realized they might not let me get on the plane if my ID says Perkins and my ticket says Frisby. I would have had to depend on the fact that I'm a short white female who could never lie or cause any harm. Maybe it's stereotypical but I'm 80% sure it would have worked.
I'm pretty excited to fly out to California. I miss it so. I'm not gonna lie, I'm glad I'm here on a hot day rather than there, but every once in a while you just gotta go back to your roots. Maren's getting married in Oakland so it will just be beautiful. A.J. isn't going to go with me. We talked about it, and if he stayed here he could get a lot done on his Mustang. That Mustang Monthly event is in August too so we gotta get that thing painted and interior-ized.
So not a very detailed update, but just so everyone knows we are enjoying our summer and doing well. In fact AJ's fishing and camping with a friend right now in SLC, and I just bought myself some silver sandals from Payless that I'm in like with. Haha.
Since I didn't provide any photos, here's a super random one I'm sure I haven't posted yet. This picture is of the day our iMac arrived last March-ish of 2007. I still had long hair, and it was not cute that day. I had just gotten home from class and found AJ already playing with my new toy. (note: he opens all my packages) The first picture was of him so this was #2.

MAGNIFICENT!

Sweet picture!
I would totally trust a fellow short white female! Is the UT test hard? Josh and I need to get UT licenses sometime.
It's open book, but that just makes the whole thing last forever. I still missed two but in my opinion the questions were worded terribly. You'll do fine.
MAN you've done some fun stuff this summer! You're hair is dark. Good luck with the license/plane situation :)
I think you should post your new license picture:) I had to get my license out here two years ago and it was the LONGEST test ever, getting your license in CA was so much easier!
HAHAHA.. you're a Utah Resident! Did you cry? I think I did a little. I'm glad you had such a good time with your family and tell Maren Congrats from me. BTW... Justin doesn't travel a whole lot. Usually it's just a few days to a week at the most, and it's not very often. This was pretty unusual for him to have back-to-back trips. He likes doing some traveling, but doesn't like to be gone for too long.
